Dear Neighbour,

Re: PlayStreet Saturday 28th May 2016 – Local Residents Consultation

We are writing to inform you that we would like to apply to Brent Council for a PlayStreet to be held in Plympton Road NW6.

This would allow the children the chance to play safely in the street, make new friends and for the community to come together and meet their neighbours.

This event would last for a maximum of three (3) hours on Saturday 28th May 2016.

If this is agreed, the road will be fully closed to through traffic and points of closure will be marshalled by volunteers. Residents/businesses will be allowed full access but are requested not to use their cars during this period wherever possible. It is not necessary to move parked vehicles from the street and the usual parking and loading restrictions will apply. The event will be under adult supervision and access will be maintained for emergency services at all times in all parts of the street.

You can find further details on how PlayStreets work on the Council’s website at

If you have any comments, queries or require further information please contact BRAT via Twitter (@bratnw6) or write to the above address. Kindly RSVP on the slip below.

Brondesbury Residents and Tenants Association (BRAT) is a group of active local residents keen to maintain a community spirit and to preserve the conservation area.

If you have any concerns or objections regarding this proposal you should e-mail for the attention of the Traffic Manager within 21 days from the date of this letter. ]

Many thanks in advance.

Yours faithfully,

If you support this event please let us know by 3rd April 2016, so that we can add your name to the list of interested residents (which the Council requires before giving us permission).
