Speed limit on Kilburn High Road planned

Brent Council are currently consulting on a proposal to reduce the speed limit on Kilburn High Road / Shoot Up Hill (the A5) to 20mph. (Most of the roads coming off it already have a 20mph limit.) It seems that only people living on the road itself are being asked for their views; but BRAT, as a local residents group, has the opportunity to send in its views. We propose to support the change, in the interests of lowering pollution, and increasing pedestrian and cyclist safety.
